This policy explains what Skinic Labs does with your information when you use the Skinic app or this website.

1. What we collect

Account details (email), skin scores generated from your scans, app usage events, and any message you send us. Photos stay on your device unless you explicitly save them to your progress gallery.

2. How analysis works

The skin analysis model runs locally on your phone. Only anonymised numeric scores sync to your account so you can see trends across devices.

3. Why we process data

To provide the analysis and routine features you request, to keep the service secure, to answer support requests, and to improve product quality using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of processors for hosting, crash reporting and email delivery, each bound by data-processing agreements.

5. Retention

Scores are kept while your account is active. Deleting a scan removes it immediately; deleting your account removes all associated data within 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from the app, or by emailing privacy@skinic.org. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Skinic is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We will notify you in the app before any material change to this policy takes effect.
