Evidence over hype
Every score we publish is calibrated against dermatologist ratings and revalidated each quarter.
Skinic started in 2023 when a computer-vision researcher and a former clinic manager got tired of skincare advice that ignored actual data. Today Skinic Labs is a small, remote-first team spread across three countries.
Every score we publish is calibrated against dermatologist ratings and revalidated each quarter.
Analysis runs on device. We store numeric scores, not your face, unless you ask us to.
We would rather tell you three things to change than overwhelm you with forty metrics.
Our analysis model is trained on a licensed dataset of consented facial images and evaluated on a held-out set of 8,400 images rated independently by board-certified dermatologists. We report agreement per skin attribute rather than a single accuracy figure, because hydration and pigmentation behave very differently under a camera.
Skinic is a wellness product. It does not diagnose disease, and it is not a substitute for a dermatologist.
